About Us

kal’pul is majority Indigenous owned business. kal’pul is a joint venture company between long-term partners Yurringa and Jacaranda Industries who have been partners since 2019.  kal’pul is an indigenous word that means ‘paired together’. 

kal’pul  is  a supplier and manufacturer of Perforated and Microperforated  Timber Panel and Timber and Aluminium Battens.  We also supply and install Fabritrak, a vinyl framework that provides a method for using fabrics as an interior finish to walls and ceilings.  

Our Managing Director, Daniel Briggs, is a Yorta Yorta, Wemba Wemba man from the Goulburn Murray Region, Victoria. Daniel has a strong commitment to community reinvestment and sees economic participation and inclusion as a vehicle for change. 

John Giles, a Director at kal’pul, brings over 30 years of experience in major  commercial projects. In recent years, he has focused on investing in people and suppliers, fostering diversity, and creating opportunities for all. 

John and Daniel's shared values underpin kal'pul's commitment to increasing procurement and participation opportunities for Aboriginal people.  John and Daniel are active in sporting and community events which bring people together.
